Recovery Specialist (Collections)

This position is hybrid (both on-site and remote) in Oregon. The starting pay ranges from $24 - $30 per hour. Spanish-speaking applicants who pass a standardized test receive an additional $2 per hour.

OCCU is hiring for a Recovery Specialist II or Credit Services Support Specialist II role with an emphasis on collections recovery. Duties include account maintenance, loss mitigation assistance, processing charge-offs and bankruptcies, managing garnishments, preparing legal forms and electronic filings, arranging voluntary collateral surrenders, identifying assets and securing debt, assigning legal accounts, coordinating mailings, and presenting data for negotiations.

Candidates need at least two years' experience in collections, with special consideration given to applicants who have handled post-charge off accounts requiring legal action. Key qualifications include proficiency in PACER, reviewing schedules, managing document submissions, and expertise in Adobe Acrobat Pro and Microsoft Office.
