Salary: $76,327.68 – $100,180.08 Annually
Location: Eugene, OR – This position is remote in Oregon or Washington.

As the Assistant Marketing Manager, you will assist with leading and managing the marketing team, ensuring the department achieves organizational objectives. This role supports the tactical implementation of marketing and communications objectives and oversees the assignment of departmental workload to ensure timely and accurate results. They support overall quality and continuous improvement of the department and are a resource for their team.
As a Leader:
- Hire, schedule, develop, develop, coach and assess assigned team members which results in a high functioning and effective organization that results in a competitive advantage of providing best in class member service.
- Develop goals for each team member which align with organizational goals.
- Ensure all assigned team members have a development plan in place.
- Conduct regular feedback and development meetings with all assigned team members.
- Maintain a cohesive, highly trained and motivated team who effectively meet daily department demand and long-term organizational goals.
- Provide consistent communication to their teams to ensure they understand the objectives and organizational goals and how each contributes to these.
- Lead team members through change management effectively when required.
- Work collaboratively with other areas with a focus on positive outcomes and meeting goals and sets other agendas aside.
- Play a positive role in the development and growth of assigned team members through excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong delegation skills assuring a highly effective, cross-trained staff.

Role Specific:
- Monitor the workflow of the development and deployment team. Assign responsibilities and timelines that align to organizational priorities.
- Assist with managing the intake process and workflow of projects, creative briefs and other initiatives by assigning responsibilities and timelines.
- Work collaboratively with Marketing leaders to operationalize departmental objectives.
- Collaborate to get campaigns to market and iterate when necessary.
- Develop and maintain a system for quality control review of assets to ensure all compliance requirements and internal guidelines are met prior to production.
- Identify opportunities to implement accurate and consistent design and messaging across all channels.
- Assist with managing relationships with internal and external partners to ensure marketing alignment with overall organizational needs.
- Collaborate with team members and business unit stakeholders on development and deployment of overarching campaigns.
- Assist with overseeing asset management processes to organize working files, versioning, and final files, as well as acquire all working and final files from design partners.
- Assist with identifying and managing partner relationships (e.g., printer, photographer, media partners, agency).
To thrive in this role, you must have:
- A minimum of three years of experience supporting marketing strategies and initiatives.
- Demonstrated experience managing large workloads and prioritizing effectively.
- Knowledge of the marketing design process
Bachelor’s degree required and/or demonstrated experience driving measurable business outcomes.
An equivalent combination of experience and education that demonstrates the knowledge, skills and abilities required for the position will be considered in lieu of the outlined requirements.
