The position is remote in Oregon, Washington or Idaho, with starting pay from $27 - $34 per hour. Please note that weekend work is a part of the normal work schedule
The Indirect Loan Funder provides exceptional service to dealers and members by efficiently funding indirect loans. They resolve dealer issues and delays with sound judgment. This role requires the skills of a Senior Indirect Loan Processor to perform quality reviews and give peer feedback. They support the Indirect Lending team's continuous improvement by tracking and documenting issues and opportunities.
In this role, you will review processed loan packets to ensure quality, accuracy, completeness, and to prevent fraud before loans are funded. Your responsibilities include verifying that all lending documents are valid and complete, such as contracts, purchase orders, title applications, proof of name changes, bills of sale, insurance, credit reports, warranties, GAP coverage, dealer products, and MSRP/book sheets. You will also ensure that all underwriting conditions are met by reviewing the necessary documentation and resolving any conditions as required. Additionally, you will address any funding issues with dealers or members to maintain accuracy and completeness. It is crucial to provide excellent service to both dealers and members, efficiently fund loans, and uphold the quality of loan packets, among other duties.
Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of experience with consumer lending or loan processing, or equivalent work experience. Attention to detail and accuracy is essential, along with the ability to review and evaluate work quality before funding. Proficiency in using a computer for data entry and information compilation is required, including familiarity with Microsoft Office suite, Adobe, and credit union systems. Professional and courteous communication skills are also necessary.
